نظمت المديرية العامة للتربية والتعليم بمحافظة شمال الباطنة معرض للتخصصات الدراسية والجامعية "بخياراتي أبني عمان" بمشاركة (33) جامعة وكلية حكومية وخاصة وجهات وهيئات حكومية، وذلك خلال الفترة 4-6 مارس 2019 بفندق الحديقة الملكية بولاية صحار ، وهدف المعرض إلى تعريف أخصائيي التوجيه المهني وطلبة الصفوف (10-12) وأولياء أمورهم بمختلف التخصصات والبرامج الدراسية المطروحة في الجامعات والكليات الحكومية والخاصة في السلطنة بالإضافة إلى البرامج والتخصصات المطروحة للابتعاث الخارجي للعام الأكاديمي 2019/2020م ، والإحاطة بطبيعة دراستها والمستقبل الوظيفي المرتبط بها، وكذلك تقديم الاستشارات المهنية للطلبة وأولياء أمورهم، وعرض أهم المستجدات حول اختيار المواد الدراسية والتعريف بآلية تسجيل البرامج والتخصصات في مؤسسات التعليم العالي ومدى توائمها مع متطلبات سوق العمل، ومثل المعرض فرصة مثالية للطلبة وأولياء أمورهم للتعرف عن قرب على هذه التخصصات والبرامج ولقاء المعنيين بالجامعات والكليات الحكومية والخاصة وكذلك المعنيين بالابتعاث في وزارة التعليم العالي، والمركز الوطني للتوجيه المهني. كما مثل المعرض كذلك فرصة لأخصائي التوجيه المهني في المدارس للإلمام بالتخصصات الدراسية المتوفرة في تلك المؤسسات والذي ساعدهم في عملية توجيه الطلبة وتوعيتهم بالمسارات الوظيفية المختلفة.

The Directorate General of Education in North Batinah Governorate organized an exhibition for academic and university specializations "My choices, I build Oman" with the participation of (33) public and private universities and colleges, government agencies and bodies, during the period 4-6 March 2019 at the Royal Garden Hotel in Suhar, and the exhibition aimed to introduce career guidance specialists, students of grades (10-12) and their parents to the various disciplines and study programs offered in public and private universities and colleges in the Sultanate, in addition to the programs and specializations offered for external scholarship for the academic year 2019/2020. The exhibition represented an ideal opportunity for students and their parents to get acquainted closely with these disciplines and programs and meet those concerned with public and private universities and colleges, as well as those concerned with scholarships in the Ministry of Higher Education and the National Center for Career Guidance. The exhibition also provided an opportunity for career guidance specialists in schools to familiarize themselves with the academic specializations available in these institutions, which helped them in the process of guiding students and educating them about different career paths.
